Barry White, singer/song writer dies of Kidney failure at a West Hollywood hospital. White also suffered from hypertension and chronic high blood pressure. White was hospitalized for kidney failure in September of 2002. At the time of his death he was waiting for a kidney transplant and had recently suffered a stroke.
